It Came From Beneath the Sea...Again!

Our newest graphic novel is the official sequel to the classic Ray Harryhausen movie: It Came From Beneath the Sea.

This book has been years in the making (due to unavoidable delays), but it's finally here (almost). This whopping big 90-page comic will be published in November by Bluewater Comics. Chris Noeth pencilled the first half and Todd Tennant the second. They have different art styles, but that makes it a really cool book.

The story takes place in the modern era, but it's deeply rooted in the beloved giant creature fear films of the 1950s. It has equal parts humor and blood-curdling monster action.

It can be pre-ordered at Amazon.

I look forward to this book. I hope it upholds the cult classic campiness of the original.

I'm lettering this at the moment. It's seriously brilliant. I wouldn't normally put my tuppenceworth in, but this is one of the best comics I've read and I wanted to congratulate you. You have impeccable comic timing.

Thanks Nikki. We appreciate your comments. Comedy in comics can be hard. You have visuals but not motion, and too many words bog things down. Glad to hear you're enjoying it, and working on it! Hope this is one of many jobs in the comics biz.

I think personally it's a shame for BWP and especially for Darren, that this Comics has never been printed... I colored the art of Chris and I'm not even credited in the Preview! We put a lot of effort in this book and never saw a single cent for all the work. It makes me sad when I see what kind of s**t is sold by BWP these days.
